Biography
Hello, l am Lhakpa and l am four years old. I come from the village of Tsuksang where l was the middle one of three children. My older sister is at BCH with me, but my baby brother is at home. We are very poor family and only make money by selling bundles of wood. I was brought to BCH in February 2006 with some other poor children. When l met my sister again after two years l didn’t recognise her, she look clean and very beautiful. Now she looks after me at BCH, where everyone is very kind to me. My sister says l have to go to school with her, but l like playing with my friends best.

The ´Love a Child´ Foundation
The ´Love a Child´ Foundation is a non-profit makeing organisation helping to provide boarding facilities and schooling for poor and needy children, most are orphans or semi-orphans. They receive a full education and accommodation in an environment which preserves their cultural heritage. The Charity has a board of trustees and publishes an annual report and accounts in the spring of each year.
